Mom Terminally-Ill With Cancer Delivers Baby Twins, Dies One Day Later

She made sure her babies would live. She is willing to die for them.

They say that a mother’s love is like no other. It is selfless and undoubting, always willing to give even if it hurts. This is exactly what this unfortunate but amazing ‘true love’ of a courageous mother teaches us.

In Fresno, California a woman showed us the greatness of a mother’s love by fighting cancer while carrying her twin babies. Unfortunately, Jamie Snider, aged 30, passed away after giving birth to two adorable twins, putting her health and live at risk all throughout her precarious pregnancy.

Last year, Jamie overcame cervical cancer and she is already a mom to two beautiful daughters and she lost one ovary as a result. But later on, she luckily got pregnant again with twins. The good news was later on dampened by a really bad discovery – her cervical cancer had returned.

Her brother revealed: “They couldn’t give her too much chemo because it would affect the development of the babies. She made sure those babies would live. She traded her life.”

In the past week, Jamie was found posting a very positive photo prior to her surgery and she wrote: “Tomorrow will be a great day.” Sadly, for the last time she was able to post these profound last words: “God has been by my side the whole time. All your prayers and love have kept me going as well. Wish me luck. I’m having a C-section at 7 and then a radial hysterectomy right after. I’ll be fine.”

The C-section brought safely to the world twin preemies Nico and Camila, but they are both healthy despite it all. Each little miracle twin baby weighed approximately 3lbs. each. A close friend, Larina Campanile said: “What gives me peace in my heart is she got to see those babies and hold them and be with them a little bit.”

After safely delivering her twins, Jamie underwent her second surgery, but the mom couldn’t hold on much longer. She died while in recovery on March 17 of congestive heart failure.

Jamie was a ray of sunshine and the most beautiful free spirit. She touched everyone’s life that crossed her path, she will be extremely missed by so many.”

What a great and beautiful love story like no other. Spread the love and the courageous story of Jamie!
